What is Novata AI?

Novata AI is Novata's AI-assisted document scanning feature, powered by a third-party ESG-specialist provider called Briink. It is available within reports on the platform.

What does it do?

You can upload a PDF document (such as a previous ESG report, sustainability report, or similar) and Novata AI will scan it and suggest answers to relevant metrics in your open report. It does not automatically submit anything — all suggestions must be reviewed and accepted by the user before they are applied.

Questions that the AI has suggested an answer for are marked with a purple symbol in the report.

What it does not do:

• It does not search the internet or any external source — it only uses the document you upload
• It does not auto-apply answers; the user must review and confirm each suggestion
• It does not guarantee accuracy — results depend on the quality and relevance of the document uploaded

Where is it available?

Novata AI is available within investor reports and company projects, including CSRD. It is accessible from the top of your open report.
